First, contact the manufacturer of your windows and see if you can get help there. If not, hire an attorney. It is so sad that people no longer stand behind their products or workmanship.
I would start looking for the warranty and other paperwork from the installer and get them to repair or replace them. One leak is an oops, multiple leaks is a screwup. If self installed you might still get replacements if it's a deficiency in the windows, not a booboo when you installed them.
I agree with getting in touch with the manufacturer. They don't want unhappy consumers. Also get in touch with a local TV station. They have people that look into consumer fraud. You can also get in touch with your village building department.
If you can't get satisfaction from the installer, I would file a complaint with Adult Protective Services that they have taken advantage of a disabled person. You are in a special category as disabled person.
I had my neighbor do this after their fire when the company, ServePro, did a horrible incomplete job on repairing the fire damage and scammed them overcharging and didn't complete the work.
You might try getting help from Habitat for Humanity, they do work on elderly, low-income and disabled houses in my area for very low fees and sometimes the state pays for the work through the federal HUD rural housing grants.
You can also take them to small claims court for $5,000 which would give the funds to get them repaired. Take lots of pictures, bring your receipts, and copies of all contacts with them whether emails, text messages, recordings etc. If you get a couple quotes from other window companies to repair their work that would be good too.
There's always the option of contacting the Better Business Bureau. Or, call your local news program. Sometimes they can get the help you need. As a last resort, write a letter to your State's Attorney's Office. Be sure to send a copy of this letter to the window company. That usually gets results (especially if a disabled person has been taken advantage of). I wish you well. Keep at it, don't get discouraged and give up. That's what they are hoping for. All of these methods are free.
