How can I repair cat claw gouges from windowsills and door frames?

I live in an apt. and my cat has dug his claws into the windowsills and door frames. I am not supposed to paint anything in the apt. so I need some kind of white filler.

    There are colored sticks available for filling in scratches and holes at your hardware store. Put on, smooth off with a bit of solvent on a rag and you will have solved your problem. These sticks can be painted or varnished over too if need be.

    Hi Jackie. You can use a wood filler. You apply it with a putty knife.

    wood filler and putty knife to spread it. Then lightly sand and do touch up paint.
