How do I repair a faded fiberglass exterior door?

My front door has taken a beating from the sun and parts have faded. What is the best way to repair the finish? Thanks

you could paint it. I would use a sprayer so it won’t run. But do a couple test runs on some cardboard.

Hello,

Could you post a photo?

Is it painted or a wood tone? We used a gel wood stain on our wood look grained fiberglass front door.

  It is wood toned. Did you have to remove the varnish top coat before using your stain. Since it is the front door I want it to look the best. Thanks

  No I didn’t strip the finish, the gel stain is very easy to work with.
  I very **lightly** sanded and washed my faded door down before applying the gel stain.
  I was very pleased with the results, I wished I did it sooner.
