It's probably more cost effective to replace the door. You are talking about a sliding glass door, right? It is just scratched? Or is it cracked? -

I agree with Melissa, replace door is likely your best bet. If not, take it to a glass man and have it done right. This is not an easy DIY if not experienced. -
