once the seal is broken there is really not much you can do. I know it is agrivating. The only thing u can do is look for the manufacturer sticker usually on the side of the doors or frame. find a date and door information and call and see if they are still under warranty. Some can have a 5,10,15, year warranty. Doesn't hurt to look or make a call
no, i think new glass door is solution ,
I had that problem, no way to fix it, maybe a huge stencil stick on that looks really nice, they are large, you can still see out..google it and there are lots of choices, or we had bought the neighbors patio door that he didn't want anymore, it was a good one that cost him $900 nothing wrong with it, got it for $75. To fix your door would be $300 a door, I called on that too. The large stencil sticker would have been my 2nd choice, a friend of mine did it and it looks great. Also try Craigslist for one that is being sold. Good Luck.
No! Once the seal is gone the inert gas, usually Argon, leaks out and air sucks in. No way to repair or clean. I know Ace Hardware sells double pane glass panels for windows but I don't know if they sell door panels. They also install.
If they are painted shut you can score them with a utility knife and then attempt to open them. Once open, sand the sides best you can for easy opening. If they are aluminum, spray the sides liberally with "L.C.WAX" Aluminum Lubricant for windows, sliding doors and awnings. I've used this many times and it works greats. Best of luck.
sadly, no.
No, you will have to replace them because the seal is broken and the gas has leaked out. I have french doors with cloudy spots in between. I'm just not ready to fork out the cash for that. I'll live with them for a while longer.
I was pretty sure there would be no way to clean them up. But thanks for all your answers. Guess I too will have to live with it "for a while longer."
