Honestly, you will be further ahead replacing the doors. Although restoration is possible, it is not an easy or inexpensive process: http://angelgilding.com/re-silvering-old-mirrors
You need to resilver it. Rust-oleum has a spray for resilvering.
Just checking, is it the mirror that’s peeling, or that thin plastic covering that comes on it? Mine still has the covering and looks like it wants to pull away at the top corners.
