How to save a steel front door?
My front door is a steel door and over the years, the sun has taken it's tole. The paint is peeling off. Is there any way I can save it or should I just replace it?

Use a sander to get the paint off and repaint the door. With a nice paint job, your door can look brand new again. Most hardware stores (and Hobby Lobby) sell font door paint.
I agree with Holly. You can also use stripper to remove the stubborn spots. This puts you back to bare metal, so be sure to use a primer on all exposed metal. If the paint on the inside is sound, just a light sanding with be sufficient.
I've used full acrylic DTM paints (direct to metal) with excellent results. Avoid using a brush. Use either a sprayer or a very fine nap roller. Brush marks will be forever in your paint and ruin your finish.
