How do I install a shutter door on my bedroom doorway?

I cut a pair of shutter doors and I want one pair across my bedroom doorway to keep my dogs out. But I dont know to do the hinges HELP

I would suggest a sold board measured and cut to fit the bottom of the door the height being your preference. Attach to the board first top and bottom then set the board across the bottom and the door and use a marker through the hinges
