What can I do? My window won't slide, one side popped out!

I have replacement windows. When cleaning the tilt down window pane, one side popped out of the right side mechanism. Now the window doesn't slide up evenly or close tightly. What can I do ?

Tilt it back down. You may have to rotate the mechanism to reinsert the bolt on the window. I usually use a small flathead screwdriver to rotate it. Don't panic, I do this all the time. It's a pain.Helpful Reply -

Tilt the window with one side higher than the other, insert the popped out side into the track and straighten the window. I believe they are designed to do that for removal.Helpful Reply -

Call the place you purchased the windows from. You must have received a warranty of some sort. They may also be able to walk you through a fix over the phone.Helpful Reply -
