Is it painted or a stained wood tone door?
A wood putty patching -sanding and painting would be an easy fix to consider.
You will need to cut out what is peeling. Use auto body Bondo to fill the areas. Sand smooth, paint or stain, the seal with polyurethane. Easier if you remove the door.
Price out all necessary materials, tools, plus your time.
It may be more cost effective to buy a "new" second hand door from the Restore.
