I remember when my dad taught us when we were teenagers, and he had us pour the steps to an area behind our garage. Those lessons served both my brother and I for a lifetime.

Ken, Hi. You'll need to build a frame for your steps, with 2x4s. Make sure it's even, and and the bottom is level also. I don't know if you want to make a complete frame, or just the steps. Start from scratch, and make an entire frame.
