What can I use to keep a throw rug in place on my carpet?
I want to keep my throw rug from bunching up on my carpet, but want to be able to remove it for cleaning and vacuuming the carpet. Everything on the market looks so permanent and not easily removable. It is a long hallway runner and the perforated grippers don't hold it in place.Any ideas?

don't know
Velcro strips
Rug pins or rug anchors. The rug pins push through the rug, the carpet and the carpet pad into the plywood under the carpet. Command also makes Rug Anchor strips. I don't know how well either one works as I have never used them but it's worth a try.

Try double sided carpet tape all around the perimeter of your area rug. I've used it for small rugs and it worked and isn't permanent. Not sure how it will work where there's a lot of traffic, but it may be worth a try. Most carpet retailers sell it.
Thanks, I'll check it out!
try bead or line/strip of silicone caulk on throw rug edges or even on bottom of rug
double sided carpet tape should work fine.
