How do I redo my old stairs?
I saw a while ago that someone re did their stairs. The tread and risers became brand new and professional. I was wondering of anyone knows about that and how I can find it. I should have saved it..rats.

basically, you do the treads first, then the raisers. if its your only access to a certain area, paint/stain every other stair tread. let treatment dry. next day, finish the paint/staining on the treads. when all treads are done, paint the raisers. I have seen a few posts where the raisers were painted/stenciled. when I did mine I used a pourch paint.
