Tip: DIY with what you have on hand
I always try to do whatever I can do with supplies at hand. As you might have guessed I am a "packrat". I never was but circumstances have made me one. I have done a Bar with scrap wood and old furniture. I have done so many things (although the bar was the most difficult to date), I feel like that old saying; :"we the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing".
Anyone else have any good projects done with what you had on hand already?

I come from a family of diy people. My mother grew up during the depression when you learned wear hand me downs and to quote my grandmother, "Wear it out, use it up and then if it is clothes, cut it up for a quilt." -
