Maybe you could buy a dark-colored tv stand with doors and change out the handles with round ones. Personally I would want something that coordinates. I'd gladly sell you mine (which I think would look good with your tables) because I want a smaller one, but you don't live near me. Good luck.
I doubt that you would ever find anything that would be similar to your existing end tables ( which I think are lovely ), but I might be wrong about the availability of what you are looking for. As a compromise, if it were me, I would probably buy myself a TV stand along the black metal with glass shelving styles, being that it is a somewhat "modernistic" style, as I would also say your end tables are.
Those look great!
No problem.................Keep searching, and hopefully you will eventually find something that suits your needs. If nothing else, perhaps you or one of your friends would have the capabilities to design and custom - build something. Years ago, I purchased a console tv with a solid cherry cabinet. I took all the electronic guts out, installed some shelves, and it now has my 47-inch tv on top, with vcr, dvd player and recorders, and home theatre components inside , which are hidden by doors that swing open and closed. It's really a nice cabinet, and I think I paid $3 for it. Good luck...............
I'be been having about the same problem. I have a whole idea book filled with corner TV stands on Wayfair. Just can't make up my mind yet but you might try their site. Lots of them offer a "view in my room" option that might help.
Lou who told you that why didn't you post a photo of current TV stand. I love your tables but things don't have to be matchy matchy anymore. Let your personality shine through just like with these 2 tables. With that said I would get one that is metal with glass top. Since things are wireless now you don't have to worry about that the modem can be in anyroom. The metal color would be the color of the round pulls of tables. Unless the person arguing with you helps pay the mortgage, enjoy your style heck even if it is your partner compromise is a good thing.
Why don't you see if there's a sideboard in that style?
I agree with Eroque - things no longer have to be matchy-matchy to look good and complement each other. I painted our TV stand to match the same color as our end tables, and installed glass shelves to give it a quick update. So yes, they are "different" but they look smashing together!
Given our living room conventional lighting we are leaning toward a white stand. We have established size parameters so I'm about to set up a folder of all suitable stands available. Please continue suggesting. Everyone has been so helpful.
Can the top be replaced?
What about 2 more of the narrower end tables, have a black or smokey grey glass top cut to your measurements at a glass shop? Use the end tables as base, with separation between them. If glass is not in the budget, use wood.
I wouldn't worry 2 seconds about trying to match something to your two end tables. I have end tables that are grey/brown color and a teal TV console. I chose teal because I have that accent color in my living room with pillows and in a pattern in a side chair.
Choose something that speaks to you, something you like and in a size that works for the room. Check Wayfair's website - they have a TON of television consoles/stands. Browse through their site or Overstock and see if anything speaks to you.
What is the TV like? Is is a newer flat screen or an older console model? If flat screen, why not hang it on the wall and save some floor space. Otherwise, if you absolute have to have a place for the TV and other equipment make use of mixed materials to create a distinct entertainment cabinet or area using bricks and wood stained to match the wood stain of the tables and use baskets on the new shelves painted to match the hardware of the tables.
Look at garage sales, and find the style you like then get Vener from the Hardware store that matches. Then add new hardware. You can use a dresser, or a desk, or two nightstands. You have to be creative and you may have a few missteps but, you will figure it out.
maybe you could mount your television on the wall, and hang a solo shelf under for cable boxes and such. If it continues to be such a headache, consider new end tables!
Where did you get you're tables at? They match an old bedroom suit from the 20's I have from my grandmother
Try these two stores online ,ALLMODERN.COM & DOT&BO.COM ,they both sale retro styles ,I buy alit from them for a mid century home I have in palm springs an in the Florida keys ,check them out.

Just a thought, but what about hitting auctions and see if you can find a bow front buffet/hutch or dresser even. Take the existing hardware off and see if you can find something similar to the end tables to replace them with. Then lightly sand it down and stain it to match as close as you can to your existing end tables? If you have at least one or two of the similar elements of the end tables I don't think you will notice they aren't exactly the same. The other option is to find a bow front buffet/hutch/ dresser and take it to a cabinet or furniture maker and ask them to modify the bottom to resemble the bottom of your end tables and add hardware similar to what you have. What you save on going to the auction you can spend having a carpenter modify it! Good luck in your search!
On the frugal side, you could pick up an inexpensive stand/table at your local resale/thrift store and paint/antique it to imitate the style you love. It will be placed opposite from the tables so it doesn't need to match perfectly. No hard rule says everything has to match. And a little DIY is satisfying. Best of luck.
Short note to thank everyone for your help. We have ordered a new stand that by its style and design will not compete with our side tables. Hopefully, we can provide a photo or two when all the remodeling work and new furniture is in place.
Hopefully by now you have installed a beautiful TV stand that you love and are pleased with your choice.
Hello Lou, hope these suggestions help.
