    I love hot water bottles, right before bed, I stick em in between the covers

    Flannel pouch filled with flax seed or rice can be nuked for two minutes and placed between the sheets for warmth. No water to leak onto bed if it's not sealed perfectly. (Yeah, I did that). Another old fashioned idea is to heat up soapstones in the oven or fireplace/wood burner and wrap them in a towel to keep your feet warm. Soapstone absorbs heat and releases it slowly. Lasts for hours.

    gel pack nuked in micro wave. throw it under the covers while you get ready for bed. one at the back and one at the feet.

    Love all these ideas, but my best one is to let the cats lay on the bed. They keep me warm all night.
