Tip: To Stay Warm, Put Bubble Wrap on the Windows!
Spray with water and apply bubble wrap. Amazing, cheap DIY solutions to insulate the rooms!

I've seen that idea before. Our old single pane windows sure get cold. We have a bunch of bubble wrap in the attic "in case we need it". Now if I can keep my son from popping the bubbles. -

In NW Missouri - This doesn't work - the condensation causes it to slide off the windows. :-(
