How to refinish grout on slate?
Over 40 years ago our grout was sealed while it was not as clean as I would have liked. Is there someway now it can be cleaned or stained darker to cover up the ugly grout?

You can buy paint that's especially made for grout. I had to use it on the grout in my old house because I couldn't get it clean enough. I found it in the tile section at Home Depot. Since you have sealer over stained grout, that's probably your best option. Hope that helps!
