How can I re-use 2x2 ceiling tiles?

I'd like to put them on the walls of my garden shed, but not sure whether that is advisable. I have about 60 of them.

HI Diane, Are these the acoustic tiles that you can cut with a knife? (I am just asking so we can know what they are made of). How damp is it in the shed? What is the shed made of? My first thought is that it would be a damp area to put the tiles and they might disintegrate over time unless the shed is insulated and has a vapor barrier and even then I wouldn't feel confident doing it.
Any thoughts from any other helpers out there???

Depends on your climate, I think you could use them. Put them up, seal them, then paint. You could have fun , take your acrylics and paint a garden scene

It’s a great idea, but if they’re rather old, I’d check their flammability.
Theyve changed greatly over the years; they’re now non-combustible. I recognize it’s a garden shed, and it would help insulate greatly, but I would want to know before going through all that work.

They are only a couple years old.
Hello again Diane, I would use them as insulation and then line the shed with maybe thin MDF or Shiplap..........You'll be very comfortable!
