I was given an Old wood ladder about 5 feet high. I would love to use it as decor but not sure how to go about it. Thank You
I want to use the steps as shelf. But can't get them level
Looking for the post on making shelves out of old wooden ladder?
I have 2 old straight wooden ladders...I am not going to use them, but don't want to throw them away. I need ideas on how to repurpose them
Here's some ideas from other Hometalkers

depends on the style of your house. You could use it as a towel rack, a rack for scarves, or magazines, or hang it and hang pots and pans from it or dish towels
Lay ladder horizontally ( I have mine braced up about 4’ on each end and hang things e.g. seed basket, recycle containers, mop for drying, jackets/ mitts in winter.
I think they look great with towels or quilts on the rungs.
Hang it from the ceiling to use as a laundry drying rack.
I have a wooden ladder that leans with blankets on it, I also have an old ladder that opens and stands. I have that leaning against a wall with plants.
I took a piece off of the top of mine and turned it sideways and made a shelf.
You could lean it against the wall and hang throws or put a coating of clear poly on it and use it for towels in the bathroom.
