How can I use laminate flooring for floating shelves?
I have plenty of laminate flooring left over and would like to use some of it as floating shelves...possible? the easy way please!!! thanks!

You could build out of cheap wood and then cover but the flooring itself wouldn't be sturdy enough to support anything.
Use the flooring for the shelves instead of wood.

Laminate flooring is as strong as wood maybe even stronger since it is layers of wood crossgrained similar to how plywood is made.
We just put laminate flooring down and I guess it depends on the thickness and strength of the product you're using and what you plan to put on the shelf. Some we saw were flimsy others were very rigid and thick. If it's too thin you could glue it to a piece of wood.
