I have 3 skim boards. Anyone have any ideas to do with them?

I found 3 skim boards along the curb. I am trying to think of what to do with them. I thought I would paint one with chalkboard paint but not sure what to do with the others.

Try using them as decorations for the holidays.research DYI crafts or look for ideas on pinterest.

If you have photos of family or friends skimboarding, I think it would be fun to have enlargements made and decoupage them onto the boards. If not than you can do the same with ocean scenes. If they are blank like the ones shown, they make a great canvas for painting a picture on. Another idea would be to add MCM style tapered legs and make small side tables.

Use them as headboards for twin boards. You could add names of children or grandchildren.

I actually saw one of these used in an art project at the Rochester Fair in Rochester NH last week. The skim board was painted with an ocean and lighthouse scene and the words, Take the time to walk on the beach, listen to the waves and smell the ocean. It was really pretty. It took 3rd place of dozens of entries.
