Do you have chickens by chance? We used one once to make a chicken tractor. We lined the sides and top with chicken wire and build a wood frame on one side for a door (so we could get in to collect eggs, feed, and water). It was perfect for the chickens to peck around on the fresh grass and still be protected from predators. When the grass got worn down, we just attached it to the back of our van from a couple of ropes that were tied to two leg supports, and slowly moved it a few feet to fresh grass. The chickens learned the routine quickly and shuffled along as it was moved.
