1). If they fit , roll up hand towels for guests and keep near sink. 2). As a kids game for a bean bag toss target. Tic Tack Toe style. 3). If you are into crafting, use the wine rack to hold skeins of yarn, or quarter fats of fabric for quilting. 4). Small bundles of kindling for the fireplace, tied in colorful ribbon or stuffed in decorated Pringles canisters. (My wine rack holds a dozen Pringles cans filled with kindling and potpourri for our wood burner. It sits on top of the firewood box-converted stereo speaker boxes.

I use a lot of wine racks in my gardens. Spray paint them and put colored bottles and or bottles with fairy solar lights.
