Use it for a hobby storage such as holsters for pistols, or if guns are not your hobby then for ropes, hats of all sorts, craft uses such as canes carved or any number of home ideas. Think what are your hobbies and store some things on it, maybe vintage old cameras or present ones if you are an amateur photographer, let it be out of the way but in sight for a conversation piece with your guests.
I had one that I painted. I used it to hang my purses.
if its weather proof maybe put in the garden and hang flowers or bird feeders or both from the hooks? or maybe it could be an umbrella holder in the center of a patio table? could still hang things from the hooks there.
A picture would be helpful.... is it more like a hall tree or a single pole type?

Do you have a garden? Paint it, plant the base in the ground, and hang various sized reflective ball ornaments on the branches. Looks pretty in the moonlight.
