Use for plastic and metal tongs?

I just can’t throw these away when we have catered dinners (bbq!). I have a few plastic tongs and a few smaller metal tongs. I even have some extra plastic salad fork and spoon tongs. Our church and other meal resources have plenty. What’re are some cute ideas for decorating these?
You could attach a sign and use them for markers in your garden.
GIve them to a thrift store.....
Attach rags to both tongs and then use to dust or clean mini blinds.
Tack a string up to the wall, place tongs upside down on the string... add a picture between the ends and tie shut with a pretty bow or some jute wrapped around the sides.
Wind chimes
I see them as legs for fun little figures...
When you get a few of them, lay them down in a circle, with the rounded side in the centre, join them together, spray paint, and make a giant sun ornament for a fence or a tree.
