Is this the type of 'pink plastic hair rollers' you are referring to?
How many do you have?
Are you talking about the kind your use for a perm? I'm having trouble picturing them. But maybe use for "logs" in a scenery landscape?

Here's an idea:
The plastic curlers with the snap on casings are great for ribbon control! Wrap ribbon around it and clip it in place. It will never unravel again!
Hi Helen: I have some of those, too :) What I have done with mine is to wrap strips of ribbon around the tube part and clip it together with the other part. Then, I ran a PVC pipe through the tubes and hung them outside as a sort of decoration. I like it :)
Hi Helen: No, sorry, no pictures. It was a few years ago. The ribbon was different colours and about 3 feet long, and some were 1 foot and I made an angle with the ribbon going from one end at 1 foot to 3 feet in the middle and back to 1 foot at the other end. It was quite pretty blowing in the wind. I'm going to have to make another one. You can get ribbon at the Dollar and a quarter store. PVC is that white plastic pipe you see at the home improvement stores. It's pretty strong. https://www.homedepot.com/b/Plumbing-Pipe-Fittings-Pipe-PVC-Pipe/N-5yc1vZ1z18i41?NCNI-5&searchRedirect=pvc%2520pipe&semanticToken=d00r20r01122000000_2022011704022833285111474635_us-east4-201x%20d00r20r01122000000%20%3E%20%20rid%3A%7B4ccf7ece5ea1050abed98836311fa70e%7D%3Arid%20st%3A%7Bpvc%20pipe%7D%3Ast%20ct%3A%7Bpvc%20pipe%7D%3Act%20tgr%3A%7BNo%20stage%20info%7D%20qu%3A%7Bpvc%20pipe%7D%3Aqu It comes in different sizes and clear, as well as white too. If it has printing on it, you can usually just sand that off. I have used large hair clips to hold up my plants, indoor and even tomato plants and, I have one on my visor, in the car, to hold my sunglasses and/or papers:)

make a mixture of bird seed and peanut butter. Tie a string to roller and then smother the roller in mixture and form into a ball. Hang out doors. Birds will love it
I would have loved to see that Helen!
