There are hundreds of kids projects with toilet paper rolls on both this site and on Pinterest. Just type toilet paper rolls into the search engine.
They make great seed pods. Slit one of the ends so you can fold it flat...making a closed-in base. Then fill with soil, plant seeds in them and line up in a tray or dish. Water as needed until they sprout, and then transplant the whole thing into the ground. You can google toilet roll seed pod for better instructions and a picture of what they should look like.
