What to do with old glass candle jar?

Question

Need suggestions for recyle of glass candle jars. Seems a waste to throw them away. They have tight fitting lids, so there must be a use somewhere.

Im with you mic! I use many of mine by bailing or screwing the lid to the bottom of a shelf and then use tge jars to organize fasteners and etc - you can also attach them with the heavy magnetic strips.  I have slso seen people make light fixtures eith the ball jars...homade candles by melting crayons and I wrapped one with silver wire and beads put some sand in the bottom and a candle and hung in a tree...sky is the limit! Enjoy

The result is the same and very pretty. Another is to find a recipe for bath salts and give as gifts. Tie some ribbon around the top/decorate with some burlap..a lovely gift for anyone

I have reused the really nice ones again by melting another pillar candle  (not already in a jar) in a tin pan which sits in another water filled pan (double boiler fashion).  Then I bought a wick kit from craft store, filled the old container with melted wax and inserted the wick (instructions come with the wick kit).
