I imagine you could also decorate with paper, paint, contact paper, or decorative tape as well. Smaller ones could be used for a cute tissue box or smaller item organization. Larger ones could be use for taming plastic grocery bags, rags, etc.

Reuse for your smaller acrylic paint bottles, pens/pencil box, kids shorter paint brushes, (wax paper or aluminum foil boxes for longer paint brushes, kids water colors. Put a few plastic grocery bags in the gallon boxes and slide under a seat is your car for quick trash bags when traveling. Lots of ideas!

I use mine to hold yarn clippings from my knitting. The boxes stack neatly on the shelf. When I have enough clippings they go in knitted toys.
