Did you try cutting a piece of "frosted" plastic window film? It lets in the light but provides 100% privacy. AND it's temporary if you want to change the design.
Plexi? Naah. There are a number of vinyl stick on products (either static stick or adhesive) that come in a variety of designs from frosted glass to stained glass and beyond. Google it and see what vendor offers the best design for your new bathroom. It will make ALL the difference. Plus, you can change it out if it ever gets 'old'. Cheers!

Additionally there are aerosol spray on coatings that apparently can frost your window.

Consider installing a glass block window in its place (we have done this twice no and they look great...can be purchased thru a number sources including Home Depot and Lowes. Another option, purchase spray frost and frost the window.
