There are many different looks you can get with the vinyl you can get for Windows now. It goes on easy and you can take it off easily to put up a different pattern. You should also be able to use glass paint for the desired stained glass look.
Stained glass paint in most hobby stores.
How about window film?
Contact paper. Or paint your own.
