there is a plastic film you can purchase, however I could not find instructions.Take a look at this site. https://www.pinterest.com/karlakay54/stained-glass/
Hello, Buy liquid leading and outline the design. If you wanted to go really cheap, you could outline with permanent marker.
Try Lowe's website or wallpaperforwindows.com
I use clear and colored cellophane paper available in gift wrap depts. In the office or school supply depts., look for folder covers and notebook dividers in thicker colored plastic. Using different thicknesses of colored film adds texture to the window. You can plan out your composition and draw in the black division lines, then cut the pieces precisely. Or you can plan the main face or other focal point, and add in only a few lines. Then closely estimate the cellophane pieces and use them even if the edges or proportions are wrong. To get the cellophane to adher to a freestanding window, use spray adhesive, tiny stripes of white or clear glue, or static electricity (with a tiny amount of water to help smooth out the pieces). I have made a full size nativity on the living room windows in years past, and I used clear tape and water based markers with the cellophane.
Best wishes with yours 😇
