They should bloom in a couple of weeks. They are outgrowing their bed! Thanks.

Not an expert, but I would ideally transplant in early fall. Actually, I transplant in all but the hottest part of summer, and usually have no problem.

I try to transplant or divide my perennials when they first start to emerge or in the fall after they have finished flowing. But I agree, as long as it isn't blistering hot middle of summer you could move them. Although it might not bloom properly if it's spending all is energy in setting down roots.

You can divide them anytime if you keep them watered but, the best time is fall and spring.

Depends on where you are...We JUST moved and I had to get mine in the ground! (moved them from the old house too) Did and now blooming.....Pretty resilient if you keep them watered

If transplanting in the fall cut them after blooms and leaves die off. If Spring transplant as soon as they start popping up out of the ground and keep well watered and fed until established.
