You should be able to go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's to see paint families. HGTV has paint families through a major paint company, too. Not knowing anything more than the open layout of your apartment, that is all I can suggest.

If this is rental, I would stick with a simple antique white or along those lines.Most of your builders always go with these colors. It will go with almost anything. It would be hard to rent if you did some bolder colors. Maybe do accent walls ....or accent moulding to dress it up a little more.

I think you should color it what ever you want. I would suggest green, but it's your call.
