Lee Govan on Nov 29, 2015this is a begonia rex, it will flower, either pale pink, lemon or white. It doesn't like wet feet, so only water once the first 1/2 inch of the top soil has dried out. More an indoor plant and they don't like direct sun, however, they look great planted on shade under trees as long as they are protected from wind. Leaf cuttings can be taken any time of the year where you are. Slit the vein of the leaf with a razor blade and sit it on moist seed raising mix weighted down with a few pebbles. Cover with a clear plastic bag to create humidity, in about a month you will see new plantlets starting, leave them to get established and pot them on.Helpful Reply
