Lables off Beer Bottles???

SLS Construction & Building Solutions LLC on Apr 03, 2013Grab 20 of your best friends? Actually condensation is the trick - get them cold & warm back up, that allows the moisture to form behind the label & break up the glue to easily pull them off. Soaking them tends to destroy the label but not break down the glue, though you could try steaming them or that goof be goneHelpful Reply

Bernice H on Apr 04, 2013Goo gone works great, however there is a recent post on HT on getting labels off..seems the trick is mainly some sort of oil, or alcohol. the post is worth reading .Please ,do post a picture of the blue bottle border, or you could make a bottle tree. Blue bottles are gorgeous either way!Helpful Reply

Level One Construction Co., LLC on Apr 04, 2013As someone who brews their own beer, I can say first hand that the best way to get paper labels off bottles is water (at any temperature) with a nice dose of "OxyClean". Just toss them in a tub and forget them for a while. All the paper slides off with no gooey stuff left behind. This does not work very well with plastic labeling though.Helpful Reply
