Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jan 13, 2012As KMS said lots of variables to even take a shot at this. Firewall requirement, basement, slab, hurricane construction, soil types, size of rooms, type of lot. Land improvements, sewer, gas, electrical, Many towns these days put a burden onto the builder to improve the area road and or sidewalks. All must be considered into the mix to determine your final cost per square foot overall. But prices are nearing the $125-$250 Would be considered depending on location city or small town.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jan 26, 2012You should consider prefab housing system. They can be constructed in such a manner that they can be added to as you moved along. I would suggest that you contact a prefab building company in your area and speak with them about your ideas. They use these types of structures for the quad housing at Rutgers Cook College campus. They only take about two weeks to install and prep for use once they get the slabs poured and the utilities set into place to connect.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Feb 02, 2012Section 8 like any other government controlled plan is something you should seriously study before choosing to do this. My brother has a duplex he already owned and converted to this program and it worked for him. Anything related to government is complex. Get help before starting the project. I'm kinda anti-government help for anything.Helpful Reply
