Is any one familiar with decomposed granite vs. crushed stone or limestone?

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jan 23, 2012Decomposed Granite tends to compact better then the crushed stone and also appears to last longer. Not sure about cost factors, but it appears to be a quality product. Check out this link. http://www.soilbuildingsystems.com/RockData.phpHelpful Reply

Hoffner Nursery & Landscaping on Feb 02, 2012You should be able to find a concrete recycling company in your area; they will have different grades of recycled concrete. I use in the nursery what they refer to as fines as a base then I put 3/4 to 1 inch over that to make parking lots and roads. If this will be an area for the average car or truck 4-6 inches of fines with 2 inches of ¾ to 1 over that.Helpful Reply
