Invasion of Kudzu Bugs....HELP
-
Douglas Hunt on Apr 23, 2013RN, you have, sadly, discovered that wisteria is a host plant for kudzu bugs. Since this bug is a newcomer, only first detected in 2009, there is still much to find out about it. In the areas you can reach, I would use a shop vac with soapy water in the canister. For taller areas, look for an insecticide containing neonicotinoids or pyrethroids, but you will indeed have to climb a ladder or something to make sure it actually gets on the kudzu bugs. Here's more from Clemson University: http://www.clemson.edu/cafls/departments/esps/factsheets/household_structural/kudzu_bugs_hs50.htmlHelpful Reply
