Can anyone tell me how much I can expect to pay for a 30x32' concrete slab? Foundation? Basement?

SawHorse Design Build on Feb 22, 2012There are many factors that go into the price for this scope of work. If you have a set of plans and specifications, I am sure that there are local contractors willing to give you a price for this. Some of the factors that would affect the price would be: 1. Use of the slab. The type of concrete would vary depending on the use. For instance, the thickness and PSI would be different depending on the type of soil and location in the house. 2. If the slab is just for parking, the you don't need a vapor barrier. If it is an attached garage or basement, they you need to put moisture controls in. 3. You may need to install Radon vents in the slab/ foundation system as well. The more details that you can provide, the more accurate the price would be from the contractors.Helpful Reply

KMS Woodworks on Feb 23, 2012As Sawhorse said...this is variable. I've seen pricing from 5 to 15 per sq foot. with your ball park 1000 sq this would be 5 to 15KHelpful Reply

SawHorse Design Build on Feb 24, 2012You can also go by some estimating tables at your local hardware store. Means data is available as well. This applies more for new construction or commercial work and has a multiplier for your area.Helpful Reply
