Creating natural steps in a slippery slope.

No photos at this time, but wanting to create steps to help get down (an up!) the embankment of the creek behind my cabin. Is it possible to "cut in" to the hillside and slide concrete pavers into place AND create stable steps? I want them to be as unobtrusive and inexpensive as possible.

Yes, you can do that. I like flagstone steppers better, but they are more expensive.
