MN Mom on May 06, 2016Uses are endless .., holding garden tools and kneeling pads, corral kids bats and balls or lawn games, turn upside down for chair side tables around a bonfire , stabilize groceries in the trunk on the way back from the store , roll up towels and store them poolside. You could even use them for plantings or hauling things to the dump or for recycling containersHelpful Reply

Liz Straughn on May 07, 2016Spray paint them. Then, turn over and make cushions for extra seating or foot stools. Or, if you need/want extra storage, leave them right side up and cut round pieces of wood slightly larger than the opening, and use as a lid. Then, make your cushions to fit the lid.Helpful Reply

Elizabeth Roy on May 07, 2016Hang it next to your outside faucet to hold a hose and/or garden tools. Drill holes in the bottom for drainage. Or with holes for drainage, next to the grill to hold grilling utensils.Helpful Reply

Lynn Palmatier on May 08, 2016Make a cushion of the top by adding padding and fabric. Spray paint the base in a color that is in the fabric or a shade or 2 different. Wala! Portable stool with storage. Use outdoor fabric and it can be used while in the garden and store your hand tools for the garden..... If you have no lid, you can make a wooden one and cover that. You will need to create a base that will fit into your bucket. Another thought, I have seen buckets used in a garden between plantings, partially buried. You should use a lid to keep out debris Small holes are drilled around the bottom and up the side, to allow water to drip into the garden bed at the roots. Put water in the bucket when you water.Helpful Reply

Linda Fraser on May 12, 2016I saw a craft not to long ago that you could do. put a brick or to inside or something to take up some room plus to give it some stability then fill with sand. Then lay some shells, small drift wood pieces, seaweed. Then get a round piece of glass like you wood get a walmart to put on those 3 leg tables. It's cheap. Place on top of container. Now you have a nice side table to go beside a couple of chairs on your deck.. You could even spray the pot with paint made for plastic to the color you want.Helpful Reply
