Perennials for DELAWARE
As you can tell this is a large area so alot of color would be great against all of the white.

Douglas Hunt on Jul 27, 2013Kelly, here is a list that a Delaware Extension horticultural agent came up for a collection of long-blooming plants: http://kentcoopextension.blogspot.com/2008/10/landscape-perennial-flower-garden.html I know that Delaware gardener extraordinaire @Barb Rosen will have some suggestions for you as well. You might want to keep some of those small evergreens for structure and winter interest when the perennials take their inevitable rest.Helpful Reply

Barb Rosen on Jul 27, 2013Thanks for tagging me, @Douglas Hunt ! Welcome to Hometalk, Kelly! Nice to have another Delawarean join the community! Rather than try to list the many perennials that do well in our area, here is my website http://ourfairfieldhomeandgarden.com/ and my garden link on Pinterest http://pinterest.com/barbrosen/our-fairfield-garden/ There you will see the plantings and their names through all the seasons! Hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions.. Do keep some shrubs in your beds to act as a foundation and backdrop for your flower garden too!Helpful Reply
