Zelda palladino on Oct 23, 2016I have one in my garden (Bear's Breaches), very prickly leafed perrenial, I have not had to divide mine yet but I got it from a lady who just seperated hers (in fall) and gave me a piece. It is growing well and bloomed beutifully this summer.Helpful Reply

Deanna Nassar on Oct 24, 2016I go with Bear's Breeches and here's a link to an info page on it. http://www.hgtv.com/design/outdoor-design/lan... Different varieties but all are invasive because underground roots spread and you only need one piece of a root to get a new plant. It is mostly a warm weather plant found in the Mediterranian. Monticello(Jefferson's home in VA) sells seeds for this plant.Helpful Reply

Larkspur looks alot like Delphinimum .... This is not Larkspur... it has open blossoms and usually purple to blue also. Google "Larkspur" and you will see. Then Google "Foxglove" and you will see what I think it may be "related" to. ???Helpful Reply
