You can paint the exterior of the globes to add an accent color.
if you are looking for a Christmas idea you can paint an empty tuna canand attarch it to cover opening and it will look like a C'mas ornament.

You can put minilights inside and place in your garden for some lighting. multiple sizes in groupings of three looks nice. I am currently trying to figure out how to stack various sizes of globes to make a lighted snowman. I can put the openings together but not sure how to attach the third one without gluing permanently.
Any thoughts? JD
Janis. dale what about using a small amount of sticky tack to hold it in place?
I've used them to hang for a bird feeder or water. (the open bowl style)
Use them like a hurricane over a candle. I have some and am thinking about turning them into a hanging light like this:

How about stacking two or three and making a lamp? If they don't have holes at the tip I don't know how to drill glass, but I'm sure there's a way. You'd need a stand, a hollow rod to thread the cord and a light kit from a craft store. Good luck!
