Glue Dollar Tree glass gems on them and place them in your garden. You can make each one a different color or multicolored. Just make sure you use a glue that will withstand the elements. Not hot glue. It will melt. Something like E6000 exterior glue. Or you can make them look like pumpkins for Halloween or Christmas ornaments. The possibilities are endless@
You could paint them different colors and use in your garden , you could paint your address on some.
In the search box type in "old bowling balls" - a bunch of projects will turn up, I bet you might find something you would like!
Paint with glow in the dark paint and use them as yard art like that or drill them out fist, paint as mentioned add some plants and then use in the yard. Groups of 3 always look so nice together and if you could raise at different levels even better visually.
I paint my bowling balls to look like lady bugs and yellow jacket bees for my yard. I also paint golf balls to look like their babies.
great idea thanks
I've done several projects using bowling balls. I covered one in pennies and it's beautiful. I just saw a post for my next project. You glue golf tees all over it the ball and paint it purple. You end up with a ball that resembles an allium flower. Looked really cool. I just wax up the pretty ones i've gotten at garage sales in different colors and group them together in the flower bed.
Go to a craft store and purchase the colorful pebbles that come in a bag. Glue them to the bowling ball and put in your flower garden on a stand.
Gazing balls with mirror paint?
I mosaiced mine with old pottery and tile pieces, using charcoal gray grout. I put it on an old iron Christmas tree stand, and it's been sitting outside on my front stoop for about 10 years.
this is a fantastic idea
Thanks
