Oh, so many options! You can use them for sorting things in drawers, to store snacks in your cabinets (perfect size for granola bars, individual packets of crackers etc) craft supplies, organizers for a car trip (each person gets their own box for their stuff) keep them in the laundry room to house sewing supplies for mending, etc. If you have lots of them, you can consider donating them to a preschool for them to decorate as mailboxes for the upcoming Valentine's Day celebrations
i use one in the car to put grocery bags in for emergency use. Keeps them in place & handy!

My favorite is the notepad holder: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/organize/storage-ideas/diy-note-pad-holder-tissue-box-kleenex-repurpose-4611090?expand_all_questions=1
I'm thinking of doing the same for my desk

I keep one in my car in which to place trash. Will hold a lot of trash. Then, just toss entire box aways and put a new empty tissue box for another round of trash. I mark the top of the box with a marker as "TRASH".
i tend to use them as desk tidy's and use old magazine cuttings as decoupage to cover them
Let the kids make Mardi Gras floats out of them and have a contest.
I cover them with old wallpaper that I had, my kids use them on there desks for pens, pencils, paper clips... and others school stuff. As for my husband, I keep his new mails in it organized by date to check them all on the weekend.
If we have a cold we use an empty box to throw our used tissues in and when it is full we throw it out. Keeps children and husbands from leaving used tissues everywhere. Keeps virus germs at bay.
