I love HGTV Magazine, BHG Do it Yourself Magazine, and I used to love the magazine the Lowe's did - but they stopped publishing it.
Yeah, I loved the Lowes magazine too. A shame its gone! As a woodworker, I like Wood, and Woodsmith Shop magazine. I have a collection of Handyman magazines from 1973 to present, but over the years less projects and more advertising. Now I get most of my projects online. Lots of free plan sites available.
I also get This Old House - great ideas and building tips. The book Design Sponge at Home - is one of my favorites too.
I am more of an online reader- so Hometalk is my go to!
Handy Man is a cover to cover read. I love it.
The Reader's Digest Complete Do-It-Yourself Manual. It got me through part of remodeling my house many years ago and repairing all kinds of electrical and plumbing problems. It is getting on in years just as I am and I am sure with the new modern products, it is probably out of date, but I still refer to it if I have a question or doubt.
No book or dig suggestion just a website I like: www.sciplus.com. They have some neat stuff.
WOW! Brings back memories. They been around since the dinosaurs. Used to go to their store on the northwest side of Chicago when I was a teen.. Love the punny description on the items they sell =:)
Only magazine I like is Family Handyman, I get a lot of ideas off of my facebook groups, Junk to Treasure is a favorite, Pinterest and Hometalk.
HGTV Magazine is my fav. The Shack is an life changing book. Soon to be released as a movie.
