Upcycled Tin Can Planters
If you have several sizes, you can make a iron man from "the wizard of oz". You can put it outside as it won't rust...
You can also make some kitchen tools place, pile them up to dress a stick and make a lamp, make a small table by wheels and wood pannels, etc...
Maybe use them for molds for cement landscape block. Could cover. Glue fabric or drawer liner paper or paint them your favorite color to use for something you need, like pencil holders, or scoop in your flour and sugar.
I've even seen them used as a roof on a chicken pen stuck into chicken wire.
You can freeze water in them and make tea or solar deck lights out of them ( or use white Christ Mass lights by drilling a small hole in the end to stick the light in) punch in a design with a nail into the ice frozen can (stars, birds or just designs) The ice will keep the can from bending.
Depends on your interest and how much time you want to spend on them. Use exterior paint if you plan to use them outside spray both inside and outside to ensure they last longer.
Any up coming weddings? you, always need some bright colored cans to add to the bumper.
Also you can cut 4slits in each can with wire cutters and stack them for a pole for a bird feeder, drill holes for dowels for perch and put a larger one (coffee can)on top for the bird feed (with a screw/or bolt to keep it in place. coffee cans also make great bird boxes.
oh my four kids...tie rope thru them and let the kids use them as stilts, or in a sand box for sand castles, or let the kids make wind chimes add a stick and you've got music. have fun with those kids they grow up fast.

We put them in the recycle bin. You could always use some as forms for candles or collect miscellaneous screws and nails.
